These 2" x 2" x .062" aluminum fence posts are manufactured from a high-strength, aircraft-grade aluminum alloy, providing superior durability compared to the thin, low-grade “beer-can aluminum” used by many imitators. Each post is finished with a premium molecularly bonded powder-coat that fuses to the aluminum surface at the molecular level. This finish is tested to meet or exceed AAMA 2604 standards, including 3,000 hours of salt-spray and humidity testing under the strict requirements of ASTM D2247 and ASTM B117 for long-term corrosion resistance and color retention.Our Shilo aluminum fencing line maintains the traditional strength, heavy-duty construction, and durable coating standards that built the reputation of ornamental aluminum fencing in today’s market. All posts are stocked 22 inches longer than the fence height to allow proper concrete embedment during installation.Any punch pattern can be applied to any post, allowing posts up to 10 feet tall to be ordered and factory-punched for any fence section at no additional charge. Gate posts are upgraded to a .093" heavy-wall thickness to support the added weight and stress of swinging gates.Standard flat post caps
